Amazing turn out. Circa 1500 people I’d estimate. Lots of faces - saw people that had driven over 2 hours to stand on the green and pay their respects. Proper West Ham.

Hope today goes well and Dennis gets the send off he deserves. Also hoping Declan gets the team to put in a performance tonight he would be proud of.
I cant make it myself later but have donated to the hospice in his memory.

They say you’re never truly dead while the living still speak your name, so Dennis will live on for some time yet.

In the last couple of hours some concerns have came tolight,the first one regarding the bubble machines, dennis wife jackie would like them, dennis had one he loved,so we are going with the machines.The second point regarding the second flag, westham have been in touch with one of my friends about the flag going in the stadium ,thats why i got two the same,so that i can put it in front of me at the ground,westham never cared when dennis was ill, only declan rice.The club are trying to get brownie points from the fans,full of shit,westham have never been in touch with jackie.everybodys been full of opinions,but like arseholes we all have one, but some are full of shit,this will be the last funeral i try to help with when its done so am i.

The coach will leave Hornchurch station at 10.30am. Newmarket Way is a 8-10 minute walk from Hornchurch station.
On Tuesday we would like all friends to be on the green opposite 19 Newmarket way Hornchurch before 11-15am.At about 11-30 we would like you all to line both sides of the road, keeping 6 feet apart and wearing face coverings, try to avoid shaking hands. The funeral will leave at 12.10pm for the crematorium. Please take any rubbish with you and behave. Peter Godward will have a coach near Dennis' house, you can use this for the loo also Dennis has got an outside toilet in his garden that you can use. Please be respectful to Jackie's neighbours at all times. We will have a number of chairs available outside Dennis; for your use. Some of them have been pre-booked. We are still short of bubble machines, if you have one, or if you know someone who has got one, please bring them.
